1991 – European Leasing Ltd established as a big ticket leasing broker by Richard Jackson and Eric Chorley in Wilmslow, Cheshire

1993 – Record single fee of £140k for arranging finance on £12m building for a listed Plc

1994 – Acted on behalf of Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive to coordinate the Novation of £30m of Finance Leases during their privatisation of Greater Manchester Buses

1994 - Moved to new premises at Springfield House in Wilmslow

2001 – Decision taken to attract an investor to enable own-book lending

2002 – Launched its own lending book with investment from Mottram Group (Holdings) Ltd and Bank of Scotland.
Moved to new premises at Wilmslow House

2003 – first £150k deal for a Rock Crushing Company in Lincolnshire

2005 – First £300k deal for a scientific company in Cambridge. Moved to new premises at Sandfield House in Wilmslow

2005 – Name changed from European Leasing to European Corporate Finance Plc & European Collateral Finance Plc established

2006 – First £500k deal for a Cotswolds based soft fruit growing company

2007 – European Corporate Finance Plc becomes ECF Asset Finance Plc and European Collateral Finance Plc becomes ECF Property Finance Plc. Group Status adopted

2007 - First £1m deal for a Chester based scaffolding company & became a patron of the NACFB

2009 – Launch of the new ECF Group brand
